Editorial Policy

Everything published on seosmohub.com, the guides, the tool pages and the service pages, is written or reviewed by Kulbhushan Pareek, the founder, who has run SEO and digital marketing campaigns hands-on for 14+ years. This page explains how the free tools are built and tested, how articles are written, checked and updated, how AI assistance is used and disclosed, and how to report an error.

Who writes and who reviews

SEO SMO HUB is a small agency, not a content farm. Articles are written from client work and from tests we run ourselves. Before anything is published, the founder reads it in full, checks every claim that can be checked and signs it with a visible byline and date. Guest posts (see Write for Us) go through the same review and are marked with the guest author's name.

How the free tools are built and tested

Every free tool runs on our own server, in code we wrote and can read. Each tool has a written specification (what goes in, what must come out), a set of sample inputs and a smoke test that runs before each release and after each change. A tool that fails its test is disabled until it is fixed, never left online with wrong output.

Where a tool reports a number we did not compute ourselves (domain metrics, DNS records, page speed, exchange rates), the tool page says where the figure comes from and how fresh it is. Tool pages state their limits plainly: an estimate is called an estimate.

How articles are written and kept current

Each guide starts with a question real clients ask. The opening paragraph answers it directly; the rest shows the work. Lists of websites, prices, limits and settings are checked against the live source before publishing, and the date of the last check is shown on the page.

Every post shows its publication date and, when the text has changed in substance, an updated date. Posts that stop being accurate are revised or removed, not left to rank. We do not publish content whose only purpose is to carry a keyword.

How AI assistance is used and disclosed

We use AI tools the way we use a spell checker or a calculator: for drafts, outlines, translations, summaries and code review. No article, tool description or translation goes live without a human reading it in full and taking responsibility for it. Facts, figures and recommendations come from our own work and named sources, never from an AI model's memory. The AI writing tools on this site are labelled as such and their output is the user's draft, not our editorial content.

Sources, numbers and claims

Numbers on this site come from one of three places: our own measurements, a named third-party source linked in the text, or the official documentation of the platform concerned. We do not invent statistics, reviews, ratings or case studies, and we do not publish rating markup for things nobody rated. Service pages describe what is included and what is not; results are never guaranteed.

Ads, affiliate links and independence

The free tools and the blog are supported by display advertising. Ads are marked as ads and never influence which tools we build or what a guide recommends. If a link earns us a commission, the page says so next to the link. Our own services are promoted on our own pages openly, as our services.

Corrections

If you find an error, an outdated entry or a tool that gives a wrong result, write to info@seosmohub.com with the page address and what you saw. We check every report, fix confirmed errors on the page itself and update its date. For a serious factual error we add a note saying what was wrong and when it was corrected.
